TODDLER I AND II PROGRAM (12 – 24 Months)
Our young toddler rooms have lots of space for this mobile age group. You will find these children becoming more social and imitating behaviors of adults and other children. They will be sorting different shapes, recognizing objects by name and being guided by their teachers to complete their simple phrases and sentences. This age group is now able to follow simple directions and instructions. The Core Knowledge Curriculum is also implemented in this classroom. You will see teachers talking to them about the daily activities, reading to them in groups and encouraging them to explore through dramatic play and during outdoor time. There are lots of art projects, dancing, singing and nursery rhyme recitation going on in these rooms. Very simple math and science concepts are included in the curriculum as well. A toddler report about your child is provided daily.
